About the speaker

Richard Vera serves as the Multiethnic Evangelism Specialist and as a Church Consultant with the Healthy Church Group of California Southern Baptist Convention. His responsibilities include assisting church leaders in developing an ongoing evangelism strategy to reach the vast majority of ethnics in the state of California; he works closely with the various ethnic pastors and leaders in leadership development, he organizes various evangelism conferences and other events with the intent of keeping evangelism at the forefront. Richard is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona where he earned a double major in Sociology and Psychology; pursued a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies at the Criswell Graduate School of the Bible, Dallas, Texas; received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from University of the Rockies, Denver, Colorado. He has served as a Church Planter in Utah, Arizona, Texas and Colorado before joining the CSBC Staff in September, 2006 totaling 32 years of pastoral experience and leadership development. Richard and his wife, Noemi, have two grown and married children and three granddaughters. Both Richard and Noemi bring with them a wealth of leadership and Bible Teaching skills. His life's purpose: To proclaim Christ so that we may present every man complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
